A place and a space— what’s the difference?

Placemaking is the process of creating quality places that people want to live, work, play, and learn in. It inspires people to collectively reimagine and reinvent public spaces as the heart of every community. Beyond promoting urban design, placemaking looks at the physical, cultural, and social identities that define a place and support its ongoing evolution.

This video was produced to promote a three-day Placemaking for Place Management Professionals program organized by the National University of Singapore.
