Asian Scientist Magazine is an award-winning science and technology magazine that highlights R&D news stories from Asia to a global audience. The magazine is published by Singapore-headquartered Wildtype Media Group, Asia’s leading STEM and healthcare media company.
In partnership with the National Supercomputing Centre Singapore (NSCC), we publish the award-winning Supercomputing Asia, a biannual print title dedicated to demystifying supercomputing for the layman. The first of its kind, Supercomputing Asia has profiled many of the industry’s leading lights including Gordon Bell, Satoshi Matsuoka and Jack Dongarra.
Wildtype Books, an imprint of Wildtype Media, is an independent publisher of popular science books, biographies and children’s literature. Notable works include Sydney Brenner’s 10-on-10: The Chronicles of Evolution—a richly illustrated book that narrates the story of evolution from the Big Bang to the future—and Asian Scientist Junior—a six-part children’s book series that dives into the lives of extraordinary scientists.
Tao is a weekly newsletter from Wildtype Media Group that takes one through the ins and outs of industries in Asia, highlighting the latest news, trends and opportunities. The first newsletter is Tao of AI, which focuses on artificial intelligence developments in Asia.
Max directs the international outreach for Wildtype Media. He brings to the company more than 30 years of experience in STEM publishing and marketing, as managing director of World Scientific Publishing Company, which has 12 international offices.

Juliana directs the long-term strategy of Wildtype Media and manages the company’s MNC and government client accounts. She speaks widely about science communication in her capacity as a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.
Director, Growth & Partnership
Samantha is responsible for the company’s brand and CSR initiatives. She identifies new verticals, foster strategic partnerships and develop growth programs that optimize the organization’s revenue funnel.
Shelly is the brains behind the designs of our award-winning print magazines Asian Scientist Magazine and Supercomputing Asia. At Wildtype Media Group, she works closely with clients to develop a range of editorial products such as books, magazines, videos and white papers.
Deputy Managing Editor
Joanne is responsible for optimizing end-to-end management of editorial projects at Wildtype Media. She ensures the prompt delivery of engaging and innovative content that features the best of R&D in Asia.
Strategic Communications Manager
Sarah oversees the development of Wildtype Media's full suite of custom content, ranging from white paper reports to email newsletters. She leverages her expertise in editorial content creation to support clients in the research, biomedical science and tech industries.
Senior Marketing Manager
Cuifen focuses on creating impact-centered communication strategies that showcase the strengths of our clients and the Wildtype Media brand. She has extensive experience in digital marketing, campaign management and advertising.
