Asian Scientist Magazine is an award-winning science and technology magazine that highlights R&D news stories from Asia to a global audience. The magazine is published by Singapore-headquartered Wildtype Media Group, Asia’s leading STEM and healthcare media company.
In partnership with the National Supercomputing Centre Singapore (NSCC), we publish the award-winning Supercomputing Asia, a biannual print title dedicated to demystifying supercomputing for the layman. The first of its kind, Supercomputing Asia has profiled many of the industry’s leading lights including Gordon Bell, Satoshi Matsuoka and Jack Dongarra.
Wildtype Books, an imprint of Wildtype Media, is an independent publisher of popular science books, biographies and children’s literature. Notable works include Sydney Brenner’s 10-on-10: The Chronicles of Evolution—a richly illustrated book that narrates the story of evolution from the Big Bang to the future—and Asian Scientist Junior—a six-part children’s book series that dives into the lives of extraordinary scientists.
Max directs the international outreach for Wildtype Media. He brings to the company more than 30 years of experience in STEM publishing and marketing, as managing director of World Scientific Publishing Company, which has 12 international offices.
Chief Executive Officer
Juliana directs the long-term strategy of Wildtype Media and manages the company’s MNC and government client accounts. She speaks widely about science communication in her capacity as a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.
Julian directs the company’s editorial vision and oversees all editorial content produced for Wildtype Media’s print and online services. He regularly conducts training workshops to help researchers develop their scientific communication strategy.
Director, Growth & Partnership
Samantha is responsible for the company’s brand and CSR initiatives. She identifies new verticals, foster strategic partnerships and develop growth programs that optimize the organization’s revenue funnel.
LAM OI KEAT, KIT
Kit directs the brand identity of Wildtype Media. She leads a team of designers, producers and video editors on the company’s visual products, which range from print magazines to books, white paper reports and social media video campaigns.
Daniel leads the creative direction on video sets and at the post-production editing stage. He also directs our self-owned video titles, which include Asia’s Changemakers, featuring industry professionals and thought leaders, and #AskAnExpert, an educational series targeted at youth.
Manager, Business Development
Jillene is responsible for establishing key partnerships with leaders in the STEM industry and the development of new markets internationally. She works closely with our partners to identify challenges and determine relevant solutions.
